Rebecca Minkoff “No Strings Clutch”

This clutch grabs my attention every time I see it, and eventhough it may not be my style, I need to get it out of my system and write a post about it. I like this bag. I actually really like it a lot, but you will never see me carrying it. It just isn’t me… I’m sure all of you run into bags that you dig, but you wouldn’t actually carry them every so often, this is one of those bags for me. I still like it though, a lot! Ok, enough messing around, I’ll just cut to the clutch.

The No Strings Clutch is yet another oversized clutch. The oversized clutch trend is spreading like wildfire and steadily exceeding the popularity of oversized totes or hobos, which is perfectly fine by me. I was always more of an oversized clutch fan compared to ther oversized bag types - I really have to expand my collection with a few new pieces for this season. The No Strings clutch comes in many color combinations. I liked this particular, yellow/gold combination the most. It does a great job reflecting the trends for this season - the bright colors and the gold leather - perfect. Golden/metallic finishes are absolutely hot at the moment and it seems they will continue to be for a while.

Made out of genuine Italian leather, this beauty is featured with a double magnetic snap closure, an interior zip pocket, two patch pockets and pyramid studs on both front and back. As suggested on the official site, it’s perfect for a night out just as much as for a lunch break with your friends or colleagues, although I would like to add that it’s perfect for most of your daily activities. To end the post, I would like to stress out the value for money ratio of this cutie. At less than $400, the price is more than acceptable. Keeping other designers who price their clutches at $1,000 in mind, it’s actually a real steal.
