Chloe “Saskia Patchwork Pouchette”

I have to admit that I found the other bags from the Saskia line utterly unattractive. The oversized flaps on the front pockets give them a certain unproportional feel which simply doesn’t feel right. On the other hand, this Saskia pouchette caught my attention from the beginning. I have been eyeing it for a while, and the more I looked at it, the more it I grew to like it. At first, I thought it was refreshing but not something you’d see me carrying, but having caught myself opening its page on NAP couple of times in the past few days, I can definitely say I would like to have it in my collection.

The flaps on this Saskia pouchette are meant to bring a little bit of chaos into the mix, because it is a bag that has playful written all over it. The colors are vibrant, the pastel shades work together perfectly, and the whole bag has a soothing, playful vibe to it. This is what I particularly like about it, it is fun and energetic but not overdone. A very good job, Chloe, very very tempting

Let me cover all the important features: fully lined interior, magnetic closure, interior zip pocket, logo plaque and the buckle details. This pochette will hold all your essentials, it has a pocket for the important stuff or stuff you would like to be at your reach, and a secured top.

All in all, I really love it, I love the wild color scheme which is combined with a very ordinary shape. I would definitely carry this cutie everywhere with me for both day and night time activities. This is just how versatile this clutch is - a perfect spring investment!

Kooba “Josie Clutch”

I have been eyeing this cutie for the past couple of days. It didn’t stirke me as something extra special to be honest, and since I usually prioritize the bags I am going to post about based on how much I genuinely like them, this one hasn’t been on the top of my list. So, Josie is a refreshing combination of pleated linen and shiny gold leather which translates into a perfect summer clutch. The flap, wrist strap, belt and the trim are made of leather and the rest of the bag is crafted out of linen. If you are not a linen fan, there is a version in pink leather, which I would personally go for (it looks much classier in my humble opinion).

Josie has two sepparate compartments, both featured with a zip top closure which is something I didn’t actually notice untill now. This really had a positive effect on how much I like it. It is very practical if you think about it.. At first you might think it is pointless to make a small bag like this with dual compartments, but it is really highly practical. I own a bag with two compartments, and all my important things, such as my wallet, cell and keys, are in one compartment, and all other things are in the other one which really saves me from a lot of headaches I would otherwise have.

Along with the zip top closures on both compartments, the clutch is featured with a double magnet flap closure for extra security. Both compartments are featured with patch pockets and twill lining. The glod toned studs on the belt are also unique, they actually look like small gems, and a small change like this can do so much to improve the overall impression a bag leaves on me.

I am sincerely sorry for not covering this one earlied. You really do not want to miss on this one - a practical, very cute clutch for less than two hundred bucks - perfect if you ask me.

Burberry “Leather Sling”

I noticed this bag some time ago in one of the Burberry stores and having bumped into it online today, I decided to make a post about it. It is nothing spectacular, but you can’t deny it’s elegance and alluring simplicity which is what drew me to it in the first place. The version I’ve seen in the store was in black leather and the one I found online is in gold, which I like even more since the gold toned hardware is not as noticable as it is on the black version.

Another thing I love about it is it’s versatility. The shoulder strap can be removed which allows you to carry the Leather Sling as a clutch or transform it into a wristlet. This is always welcome because it allows you to choose which style you’ll go for, depending on your mood and/or outfit. However, the clips would look more elegant if they couldn’t be detached, but it is not a major setback.

Apart from being completely transformable to your liking, being in this color, this bag would look just right in any season which further reinforces the versatility of this little gem. It is big enough to carry all your essentials on your night out (I just can’t imagine myself carrying this bag during the day, possibly in another color, but in gold definitely not).

As for the features, it has a zip top closure, the interior is lined in house check and featured with a zip pocket and on the front you can see the D-ring details and the Equestrian knight logo (which is pracitcaly invisible in the golden version).

Louis Vuitton “Eva”

Straight from Paris into my collection… I’ve got to share this one with you. Tres chic Although I usually don’t blab about how I bought this bag or that bag, I simply have to share my excitement about this one. I bought it without thinking twice, It was an instant crush! My “imagine me and you” process lasted less than a couple seconds and the deal was closed. The golden chain, which looks super chic when you leave it hanging like that and the cute shape… Mmmmm…. Anyway, I won’t be able to part from it for a few days now, it’s really practical and catchy and able to complement almost every outfit.

It comes with both a leather shoulder strap and the golden chain. The shoulder strap is completely detachable, the key to Eva’s versatility. Need a clutch type of bag for a night out? Attach the other side of the chain to the same side it’s fixed on and you have a wristlet. Need something more classy? Attach the chain to the opposite side, making a shoulder pochette of it. Shoulder strap is used for a laid back look, because then the bag is carried cross body with the gold chain used as a beautiful accent.

It comes with an engraved logoplate on the front and pleats on both sides. Interior is fine textile lined and the only downside is the lack of pockets. At this price, you simply cannot go wrong with this one.

I love this one just as much I love it’s bigger sister, I’m a total sucker for this kind of accessories. I’d love to have this one in my bag for those unexpected situations we all find ourselves in from time to time. You are out having dinner with your friends, carrying a big shoulder hobo as a companion… The evening is going well, everyone is worked up and someone suggests clubbing for the rest of the night - instead of worrying about dragging your big bag in a crowd all night, you just reach into the bag and grab something like this and you are ready to go… See how easy it all gets once you have something like this at your disposal? Prada SS08 “Crispy Clutch”

I bumped into this cutie after an hour of constant frustration caused by the lack of information regarding Prada products. I was trying to connect one of the new Prada additions to a name and, frankly, that is impossible if you do not contact or visit a Prada store. Don’t even try the offiicial website since you will find practicaly no info there. I didn’t find out how they named the bag so you will have to wait a bit more for that article to be posted. But then, in all that frustration I noticed this cutie. And I want it, NOW! This does not happen to me very often, to see a bag and to want to have it that moment. I see bags which I love and really want, but this is one step higher.

The coral color immediately got my attention. This is one of those pieces I wouldn’t part from both during the day and night. And let me remind you, the coral color and some caught sun tan are a killer combination. Brrrr… Chills… Sorry.. Anyway, you can carry it as a clutch or as a writslet, wristlet is my preffered choice in this case. The gold toned hardware is perfect! See, this is the way to make gold look fab on a bag, a textbook example.

I love the chubby look, I love the “crispy” fabric, it makes it look playful, energetic, “summer-ready” ;), but still sophisticated, like most of the Prada bags look. I couldn’t find any info on whether the wrist strap is detachable or not, but that does not in any way change how I feel about this clutch.

Maison Martin Margiela “Chain Main Wristlet”

First of all, we’re talking about a Belgian fashion designer who has been working for some time for Jean Paul Gaultier before releasing his first collection under his own label “Maison Martin Margiela” in 1988. The best, and most often used word to describe his designs is “artisanal” and we can safely say he’s a visionary.

Second of all, I will be honest and say I’m not very much in the know when it comes to his designs. I did, from time to time, see some of his handbags, items from his clothing line here and there, but it’s not like he’s on my list of the designers I pay close attention to.

After taking a close look at what he thinks women should accesorize their outfits with, this is the only bag that caught my eye and in a way that I couldn’t stop thinking of it. I didn’t write this post immediately on purpose. I figured it’s better if I let my impressons settle down first. Other bags are also nice, but this one really stands out among them, no doubt. At first glance it has a shape of a cosmetic case, but the wrist strap and little metal studs give its purpose away. This one isn’t made to carry your make-up-essentials… This one is made to steal the show wherever you show up and don’t think you’ll achieve a lay-low look with it. It’s armor gives it an attitude which makes this bag ideal for those situations when you really want to make a statment. The length of the grained leather wrist strap is adjustable from 6″ to 7″ on a metal chain, it is zip top closed and the interior is fine textile lined with a zip pocket.

Coach “Resort Woven Clutch”

Come on Coach fans, gather up and listen to me closely! If you have any money left after the crazy shopping madness we were all a part of lately, and if you’re thinking ahead, this is the bag you want to begin accessorizing yourself for spring/summer. I know there’s enough time left, and a ton of new handbags is coming our way, but at some point you have to start, if nothing else, planing.

I say start with this one because it is perfect for switching from the dull wintery to a fresh summery mood, because of the neutral color of its weaved leather and gold toned hardware decorated belt encircling the bag. You can also carry it as a wristlet or attached to the interior of a bigger bag. If you decide to carry it as a clutch or a wristlet, that’s just fine because even though it is rather small, it can hold everything you need for an easy night or day out.

And you know what? This isn’t much of a night-out clutch. I think it would fit a flaunting dress and flip-flops as a day outfit somewhere nice and warm best… Oh, I can’t wait for summer… I just love these kinds of bags, small and cute, swinging on my wrist while I walk carelessly around a seaside resort…

Dior “Plisse Small Wristlet”

I’m on a clutch-lookout again, so it’s a clutch day over here at my place. I’m again in a “clutchy” mood and maybe it’s because of all the parties I have planed for this and the next month and there is no better companion for a party than a clutch. Not even the best looking guy can make me feel better when partying than clutch can. I’m being silly again, but never mind, I’ll come to my senses again.

I thought that Salvatore Ferragamo Gancio will satisfy my needs for some time, but it looks like I was wrong, and judge me if you want, but, no woman can ever predict when will the need for a new bag pop-up. Is it just me or is there something special about clutches? Like, you can never have enough of them. You might be satisfied with just a few shoulder bags, hobos, totes and all, but there can never be enough clutches in your collection. Please correct me if I’m wrong…

You see this clutch here? There’s no way you’ll be unnoticed with it. I liked it’s bigger sister Plisse Basket Bag from the first time I saw it, or to be honest, I loved the idea behind it. I never took buying it into consideration because I couldn’t finish the imagine-me-and-you process, which isn’t the case with this wristlet. The thing is that it looks overdone to me somehow. Larger bags, totes and hobos, can’t always carry the specific idea out as a clutch can. Which ever detail you decide to implement to a bag, especially if it’s complex, can leave a heavy impression, it is usually eye-stabbing and gets in the way, leaving you disorientated. I know that’s the case with me. But, when it comes to clutches, it almost doesn’t matter how complex the detailing may be, if the material and color fit the shape, it will at least look interesting if not stunning. You get the point… And the same thing is here with this clutch… I love it way more than I love her bigger sister…

It is just so sweet and feminine with that pleating and leather gathering that there so no way I’ll let it slip my hands. And I’m so glad that it is a leather, and not satin, that I simply can not describe it.

Diesel “Roz”

In my post about Diesel Galla from the other day I shared my feelings and opinions for the brand in question, and eventhough I have an urge to share them again I will sustain myself. I just LOVE Diesel!! Ooops… Sorry, must have slipped my mind what I wrote in the previous sentence

I love this gadget, as the Diesel official site calls it. But I have a problem, actually a huge problem. The Diesel official site does not provide any information on the size of this gadget. We all know how misled you can be about the size of the bag if the website you are browsing does not have a manakin or a model carrying the bag or if you haven’t seen the bag IRL. I know that happened to me about a million times. This is how it works - you see the bag, you instantly get an impression on the size of the bag and and you love it, but then, this season in particular due to the trend of oversizing, you open a picture with a model carrying that bag and you somehow don’t like the bag so much anymore. I know I sometimes hate the bag after I’ve seen a model carrying it and just a moment ago I was in love with it. IMHO it has to do with the proportions of the bag and of course the shape of the bag.

The thing is, I like this bag that much that I’m going to rationalize this size thing. The thing bothering me is whether it is a clutch or a wallet. It is featured with a strap, I would like to think of it a wrist strap and actually, I can not think of any other reason to put a leather strap on a wallet, judging from the proportions, a purposeless strap. It is also featured with an interior zip pocket and I also don’t see any reason to design a wallet as a purse. Having these two elaborations in mind, I will assume that this gadget is really a wristlet and I announce that I am in love with it.

The Diesel Roz is made 100% of leather with embossed leather detailing, has a zip closure, a leather strap and an internal zip pocket. There are two versions available, beige and black and the embossed deatiling is different on each version. I honestly love both versions and I would like them both in my bag collection. I do not care that I would have two exact same bags, I love them.
And I would carry it anywhere with me, daytime or nightime, all the same..
