The Be a Bag is available for purchase again! It is a really easy way to make an unique bag which noone else will have. The whole process is very exhausting and time consuming. First you are faced with picking the shape of the bag you like the most and pick the color of the bag - stress levels are very high in this step, so make sure you take breaks regularly. Then you have to, imagine this, pick a picture you would like to have on your bag. And then, you have to send it to Anya Hindmarch… I really do not know how anyone could find their way around this complicated set of tasks Just kidding, it’s as simple as it gets ;D

There is a tool available on the official site which allows you to change the size of your image or crop it and use only a part of it on the bag. You can also choose whether you would like to have a picture on both the front and the back of the bag or only the front. I think having a pic on both sides of the bag would be just a bit too much.. The front is just fine.

You can choose from various shapes and sizes to match your desires. Most of these bags are made of silk satin, only the Shopper and Weekender totes are made of canvas. All bags are featured with a tab closure and an internal zip pocket.

Tod’s “Softy Shopping Tote Media”

Ahhhhhh… I am melting… Cuteeeeee…. I don’t know if it’s the color, the shape or the ruched detail on the sides, but I am totally in love with this one. I can’t believe I see a bag so feminine and dulcet coming form Tod’s. I already said I’m not much of a fan of Tod’s handbags, and it’s all because it seems that their ideas always get lost somehere along the way so the final product never looks the way it was suppoused to look. I mean, it’s not like I could ever mistake this for a Bottega, but it does have a Bottega touch to it, doesn’t it? Or maybe I’m crazy after Zoe made me take a look at new arrivals at Bottega which kept my mind spinning for hours later. I better not start talking about those, because I probably won’t be able to stop, and then you’ll think I’m crazy and God knows what else so let’s get back to this beauty

The leather is smooth and grained, smooth because it’s grained and not vice versa. I can’t get my mind off of thinking that this is probably the best color for this bag. It emphasizes the shape of the bag just as much the braided handles and rouched sides and it complements the polished gold metal hardware in a way you’ll rarely see. The bag is seemingly folded on the front and back, and the magnetic snap closure on the top of the bag secures the logo jacquard lined interior with a zipped pocket. Have no doubt, with this bag on your shoulder you’ll be recognized as a true bagddicted aesthete.

Louis Vuitton Rayures Line SS ‘08 / Monogram Tisse Rayure Clutch

We have something on the spring/summer ‘08 Louis Vuitton new releases, and it’s about the bags which are set to be the first to hit the LV stores. I’m talking about the limited edition Rayures Line. Rumor has it that they are limited edition so you better keep them in mind since they will be among the most wanted bags in the upcoming season, and with a high demand and a limited number of bags available, if you want one you better get it as soon as you can.

The Line features tote bags in two sizes and a clutch bag in a new, water repelent Monogram Canvas. The size of GM tote is 14.9″ x 11.8″ x 7.5″, with white-blue stripes and the price is $2,470.00. The size of the PM one is 11.6″ x 9.4″ x 5.9″, it also has white-blue stripes and is priced at $2,090.00. Both totes are featured with an interior zip and with two lateral pockets.

I can’t wait to see more of these bags because they really are beautiful, fresh and worth craving for - and believe me, they will be craved for. Burberry Prorsum Online Exclusive

The Maxi Sequin dress is now exclusively available on Burberry’s official website. It is a part of the Burberry Prorsum spring/summer 08 pre-collection and was presented at Milan runway show. This stunning sleeveless dress is made of a viscose mix and thus very soft, making it possible for the sequins to carelessly sway upon movement. The opaque sequins have reddish hues which are noticable in the light. They are featured from the chest down, leaving the neck area unembellished.

Prada Spring Collection “Cervo Folding Shopper and Frame Bag”

These two are some of the new additions to Prada, a part of their spring collection. We might as well say it was expected to see something like this, since they are spring handbags. The best way to go is creating a spacious, lightweight shoulder bags which are easy on the eye to match the state of mind we are usually in during spring time, and that means walking around town doing some shopping. And some more shopping, and some more and some more… Both of these bags are perfect for those days when you want to connect your working hours and after work shopping, since they’ll match both occasions and can carry pretty much everything you’ll need to freshen up after work so you can do what you do best…

The thing is I’m personaly torn between these two. Both are very nice and practical, both will carry you through out many years to come, so, which one to buy? I mean, this is a true dilemma and probably the only right way of solving it is buying them both. But let’s say you want to save almost two thousand dollars and spend it on something else and you have to choose the one that you will take home. What to do? Let’s try induction…

On one side we have Cervo Folding Shopper in brown deerskin with long top handles allowing you to carry it carelessly as a top handle or as a shoulder bag without being worried about the bag being a burden. We also have an option of a longer and removable shoulder strap which I suggest you leave hanging as a detail on a bag since you probably won’t have too many occasions that would require carrying the bag that way. The bag is rounded up with buckled belts which are the key details on these bags. They are adjustable so you can play with them making your bag illusively a bit different. The leather is meticulously crafted, looking slighty grained and very soft. Size of the bag is 17″ x 17″ x 2″ and the price is $1830.00.

On the other side we have Cervo Folding Frame Bag, Shopper’s little sister which is also made of a deerskin and crafted in a the same way the Shopper is, but this one is white, and apart from the shorter buckled belts, this one is also detailed with a gold signature closure on front. The belts surrounding bags flap top are adjustable as well. Size of the bag is 9″ x 13″ x 6″ and it’s price is $1950.00.

After taking into consideration all that I wrote and all my methaphysic sensations, I think that due to the upcoming season the Framed Cervo is the one to go for.

Prada “Woven Shopper”

This is the ultimate summer bag. It is as simple as that. There’s nothing much to say about it, you can see everything for yourself. It’s very fresh and lively, which makes it even more alluring in this time of year. It makes me crave for those long summer days, walking down the beach and drinking ice cold cocktails… This is not a town-bag, it doesn’t fit the rush and concrete surroundings, so if you’re going for this one make it your summer bag, not an all-day-around-town bag.

It is made of multicolor woven nylon which makes it less monotonous and more vivacios. When talking about woven nylon and the way it’s implemented, I can’t help noticing the resemblence between this bag and the Fendi Patchwork. It isn’t like these two are real look-a-likes, but this one sure reminds you of a well known and talked about Fendi design. That aside, this is a rather original bag which will be a lifter during those hot and sunny days ahead of us. It is top handled, and if you’re a rather petit framed woman you’ll be able to carry it on your shoulder. Practical, spacious and not too big, this is a nice and catchy bag with only it’s price as a minus, since I think there’s no need for it to be this expensive. But nevertheless, it will find it’s way to you bagddicts.
