Lauren Merkin “Diana Metallic Lambskin Clutch “

Tina has written a post about Kooba Lexie bag not so long ago, and in her post she explained the need for a small purse like these which no woman can escape. She did an excellent job verbalizing it instead of me repeating her words here, head over to her post and have a look for yourself. I will just say this: with this cutie on your shoulder, you will feel relaxed, not fearing someone might ruin your purse, while looking simply fab.
I have been checking out Lauren Merkin’s clutches for some time now, and I liked a few, but I never got around to writing about any of them. I always had something else to write about, or I would simply forget to / be too exhausted to write yet another post that day. The Diana clutch however, I could not skip nor forget. I loved it from the first glance - the shape is fabulous, very simillar to another one of her clutches which I will cover in one of the following posts, but the thing that really caught my full attention the 22″ shoulder strap. Since the shoulder strap is that long, your bag will not get in your way while you are dancing or carrying drinks on a night out. It can also work great as a day bag, when you don’t need to have a lot of stuff with you.
Made of deliciously soft, leopard textured Itallian lambskin, and featuring a braided shoulder strap, another very alluring detail if you ask me, this one might not end up being the best bag you have in your collection, but it could easily become one of the most used ones. The price is very acceptable, and I believe the value for money is more than satisfying.

Lauren Merkin “Louise Lambskin Clutch”

I’m over my clutch obsession and if I’m to be honest, I think it was about time. I needed some professional help because I couldn’t recognize and admit that I had a problem. Everywhere I looked I saw a clutch… clutch… clutch… clutch… I couldn’t concentrate on anything else. At one moment I was looking at a beautiful day-shoulder bag and then the next second I was posting about “the best clutch I have ever, ever, ever seen”… And strangely, every other clutch was “the best clutch…” Silly me, but that’s because I’m a woman and I am bagddicted… That’s what the doctors said
I posted only a few clutches recently because my goal wasn’t to neglect or ignore clutches, I just wanted to be able to have eyes for other styles… And now I feel ok… I have new bagddiciton and it’s shoulder bags, but I’ll get back to that some-post later. At least I know how to notice the bagddiction. Maybe I even start a bag-rehab center where we can all pack up and interchange our experiences.
But first, lets do this one.
It reminded me why I was so bagddicted to clutches, because if you look closely, this one contains a true essence of a clutch.
It’s practical, not too big and not too small, very well proportioned and shaped, distinctive and charming. Whether it is lambskin, gator, python or other various colours and patterns, this one could be used as an example when designing a clutch.
It fits perfectly in your hand and even more perfectly under your arm due to it’s framed top.
All in all, I’m giving you these two: Taupe Lambskin and Gunmetal Lambskin one.
I say the Gunmetal is a bit more festive, but that doesn’t mean it’s made to be exclusively a party-bag. It goes prefectly with dark trousers, white shirt and some killer-flats. So does Taupe one but in more of a low-key way.
