Chloe “Sue Patent Leather Bag”
And once again it’s Chloe… Their bags are definitely stealing the show this season, and I am very glad because of that. I’ve seen many new Chloe bags recently, and they definitely seem to be making sure they have every corner of the market covered. Whether we’re talking about a day in the city, an evening out with your girls or an easy walk in the park, Chloe designers sure seem to be making sure there is a Chloe bag for the occassion. I’ve shared my feelings about the Chloe Odessa with you recently, and now I want to do the same thing with this one.
The Sue is (another) white bag with a front, gold toned metal plate hidding a magnetic snap closure underneath it. The bag is made of patent leather, and as much as Zoe keeps venting about how she is fed up with patent, I must say I think that white patent leather bag is a perfect way to freshen up your summer look. Despite the fact that we have seen what was probably too much of patent throughout the year, somehow it always manages to shine in a new and totally disarming way. As expected, the S/S collections brought us brighter colors, and the color that seems to be stealing the show is definitely white. There are patent bags in other colors, but this season it’s all about white, white and more white, so it’s only logical that we are seeing more white patent bags than ever before.
Anyway, back to this bag. One thing that surprised me slightly is the shoulder strap, which is pretty thick. Summer shoulder bags are usualy made with a thin and gentle shoulder strap, but the designers over at Chloe decided to go for a thicker, wider strap and I must say I like that! Thin patent leather shoulder straps look kind of cheap, and not in a cheap&chic kind of way, which is not something I like on bag. The shoulder strap on the Sue bag is however a beautiful detail itself and lifts the whole bag up a notch. Seeing a flap top on a Chloe means only one thing - the flap trend alive and kicking and we will be seeing more of it in the days to come. The front of the bag is detailed with two patch pockets and there is another one inside the bag. Tina likes!

Chloe “Odessa Leather Tote”
Now we’re talking bussiness… I am so thrilled right now that I might actually lose my mind over this one! The leather, the shape, the combination of these two colors… Everything, absolutely everything about it is nothing short of stunning. And the fact the bag is yellow just makes it… I don’t even have the words to describe the effect this bag has on me. And of course, that inner strugle that Chloe bags always get me into is nowhere close right now. It’s surprising how simple this bag is yet I can’t stop staring at it, and that’s what sets me off big time. Check out how sophisticated the smooth brown leather looks… Mmmmm… The bag body, being just a bit slouchy, creates a beautiful contrast to the framed top making it simply adorable.
The interior features brown twill lining and two compartments and a zipped pocket. The only visible Chloe detail is the clasp fastening on the top. You can carry it as a top handle, cross body or as a shoulder bag thanks to the removable shoulder strap. I don’t know which way I like better… I can imagine myself standing in front of the mirror for two hours trying to decide which look to go for, and probably ending up sitting on the floor, not going anywhere just to spend some quality time with it…

Chloe “Saskia Patchwork Pouchette”
I have to admit that I found the other bags from the Saskia line utterly unattractive. The oversized flaps on the front pockets give them a certain unproportional feel which simply doesn’t feel right. On the other hand, this Saskia pouchette caught my attention from the beginning. I have been eyeing it for a while, and the more I looked at it, the more it I grew to like it. At first, I thought it was refreshing but not something you’d see me carrying, but having caught myself opening its page on NAP couple of times in the past few days, I can definitely say I would like to have it in my collection.
The flaps on this Saskia pouchette are meant to bring a little bit of chaos into the mix, because it is a bag that has playful written all over it. The colors are vibrant, the pastel shades work together perfectly, and the whole bag has a soothing, playful vibe to it. This is what I particularly like about it, it is fun and energetic but not overdone. A very good job, Chloe, very very tempting
Let me cover all the important features: fully lined interior, magnetic closure, interior zip pocket, logo plaque and the buckle details. This pochette will hold all your essentials, it has a pocket for the important stuff or stuff you would like to be at your reach, and a secured top.
All in all, I really love it, I love the wild color scheme which is combined with a very ordinary shape. I would definitely carry this cutie everywhere with me for both day and night time activities. This is just how versatile this clutch is - a perfect spring investment!

Chloe “Nancy Leather Clutch”
I dig this one… One more Chloe handbag I like (love actually), and you can’t imagine how happy I am about it. I somehow have a really strange desire to like Chloe handbags lately. Maybe it’s because the whole idea behind their designs usually matches my personality and my style, but the final touches don’t always click, making me want to sneak into the factory and grab the bag before it goes through the last stage of production, I don’t know. You know that feeling when you get a piece of clothing or a bag you hold dear ruined for good? That’s exactly the feeling some Chloe bags evoke in me.. Why did something so beautiful get ruined? If they would just stop one or two steps from the final design, I would most likely be their biggest fan. This way, I rarely find myself being draven to their bags, but when I actually do - it’s a really strong attraction as it is the case with this one - I simply love it! If they keep coming up with bags like this one I’ll be one happy bagddict.
This one is made of black leather and given a bit of a glossy touch which fits the bag perfectly and I’ll tell you why. This type of leather, combined with the metal/perspex handles gives it a vintage feel and I simply can’t resist that. The top is folded revealing letaher lining and one pocket. Tina likes!

Chloe “Heloise Small Shoulder Bag”
This one does though. I like the fact the leather is quilted patent and I really dig the orange color. I actually think it’s totally smashing. I remember thinking “Oh, another overdone Chloe” the first time I saw it, but I ended up really liking it in the end. It’s not big and looks very chic and I think it is worth having in your collection, especially if you don’t have any other Chloe handbags. It has a removable shoulder strap so you can carry it as an oversized clutch or as a shoulder bag. Interior is cotton lined featured with zip and patched pockets. It is currently on sale, so you might want to take advantage of that…

Chloe “Heloise Leather Tote”
When it comes to Chloe handbags, the thing is, as I’ve said before, that you simply have to get used to them. Chloe designers aren’t very accommodative when it comes to trends and it seems that they will go for whatever they’ve had planed, no matter what. I’m not much of a Chloe fan, but as an extreme bagddict let’s say I like their bags as much as any random bag enthusiast. The only line of theirs which satisfies some, or all in some cases, of my criteria is the Heloise line. Others are a just bit over the egde for me.
There seem to be many bagddicts out there whose sole goal is to have as many designer bags as they can. It’s easy to get drawn into that pursuit once you start building your collection, because no matter how many bag purchases you’ve made, it somehow just seems it isn’t enough. You always want more, and even if you think you don’t, be sure that there is a bag with your name on it just around the corner waiting to get you hooked against your will (Umm.. Right.. Had to write this, a certain person was staring over shoulder.. *chuckle*). The reason why I’m writing all this is that the bags from the Heloise line are starting to get to me and I’m starting to want one for myself, eventhough I haven’t planed it. That’s a big problem since I’ve always had, and still do have, a strict plan when it comes to buying bags, and I haven’t made a single irrational impulse purchase in my history as a bagddict.
In my humbe opinion, this is a perfect bag for every woman. Whether you’re in your 20’s, 30’s or 40’s, you won’t be wrong with this one. It may not seem like much at first sight, but the sumptuos look of the leather used on this bag, combined with braided handles and just the right amount of gold hardware make Heloise Leather Tote an all time bag. The picture often can’t show everything, and when it comes to this bag, you’ll probably have to see it irl to actually get my idea… Of course, if you already haven’t…
It is great for accesorizing a comfy outfit, by carrying it on the crock of your elbow just as much as it is when carried as a top handle. That makes it a great and practical day time bag. Featured with two pockets inside, two on each side of the bag and one outside zipped pocket at the back, canvas lined interior and an open top, its practical and beautiful and getting its place on my list.

Chloe Saskia Tote
No, no and no… I refuse to believe what my eyes are telling me. I had to slap myself few times to actually come to my senses after seeing this bag. I mean, can this be true? After all the beautiful bags, how can anyone make something looking like this? No, really, you can’t make a bag which looks like this and expect people to go crazy over it and buy it. I don’t know… Unbelievable. After seeing it I told myself that there’s no way I’ll hold back any of my impressions, I simply had to say it.
Do you like it? Does anyone like it? Let me know if you do. Saskia Tote is a combination of a top handle and a shoulder bag made exactly the opposite way of how such a bag should be made… Front flap pockets detailed in the worst possible way, with some kind of a buckle, belt, whatever…. I get the idea behind it, and the shape is nice, but why exaggerate it this way? It does not look good!
Someone definitely got lost while designing it. I know the Chloe team has a somewhat strange way of expressing what they think a bag should look like, and because of that, people either love or hate a particular style they come up with. As for me, it’s ok to go all the way no matter the cost, but come on, you’ve got to put your foot down at one point and look back. If anyone did that when designing this bag, I assure you, it would never make it to the shops.
Nevertheless, thanks for making beautiful bags even more beautiful after this…

Chloe “Heloise” - NEW!!!
So this is what Chloe has planed for us for this winter and may I say it was expected. Re-designing the IT bag means a hit almost every time , and it is a hit for Chloe this time. Heloise belongs in the type of bags to which you have to get used to and I did when in Milan recently, as I studied it quite thoroughly. I was attracted to this bag from the first time I saw it and it was a rather inexpicable attraction because I couldn’t really tell whether I liked it or not. Looking at the new ones made me realize I do like it. It was this spring that I saw the Heloise in tan lambskin which made me do that imagine-me-and-you thing, and although I liked it, I somehow couldn’t imagine myself carrying it. But I can imagine myself with these ones, especially with the gold lambskin one which is absolutely stunning.They also come in python and in metallic python version which are also extraordinary.
These bags are available in Chloe stores only, which makes them a bit unavailable and thus even more desirable.
