Lauren by Ralph Lauren “Beaded Necklace” and Sequin “Wood Necklace”

I know we are a handbag blog, but every once in a while I have to share my other passion - jewelry - with you. I found this necklace while I was browsing the global trends section on Nordstrom, and being a sucker for corals that I am, I had to write a short post about this one. I also like the beaded necklaces which have been quite trendy for some time now (I kind of thought they’d be a one season trend, thankfully they were not). So this combination would be a dream come true for me. The necklace is approximately 18″ long, so it should look perfect around your neck, especially after you have caught some tan!

The other necklace I spotted is the hand crafted Sequin wood necklace, also yummy and very summerish! I love necklaces that are long and unproportional like this one (it is approximately 40″ long, perfect!). I love the beautiful glass beads, wood, resin and gold pleated brass details and the suede part of the necklace. Well, I think you can tell I love everything about it. The only objection I have is the way the suede part is attached to the rest of the necklace, but I can overlook that because everything else on it is just beautiful!

When it comes to shoes, Jimmy Choo is among my favorite brands, and I am really glad to see the beautiful SS08 collection pieces available at Saks.com. My favourite pair is there as well - the Allena thong sandals. I never quite liked how my feet looked in flip-flops. Louis Vuitton Handbag Charms Vol 2

I spotted some new additions to the LV key holder selection (a.k.a. handbag charms) on eLuxury.com. There really is nothing much to say, except that they are all charming (Charming charms, *chuckle*), and that they are all very very cute. I would also like to say that I want all of them, but I know that kind of isn’t the point.. It is so hard to make up my mind about which one should I pick.. Maybe the Inclusion one.. Or maybe the Cannes key holder… I don’t know.. Well anyway, feast your eyes ladies!

Anya Hindmarch “Be A Bag”

The Be a Bag is available for purchase again! It is a really easy way to make an unique bag which noone else will have. The whole process is very exhausting and time consuming. First you are faced with picking the shape of the bag you like the most and pick the color of the bag - stress levels are very high in this step, so make sure you take breaks regularly. Then you have to, imagine this, pick a picture you would like to have on your bag. And then, you have to send it to Anya Hindmarch… I really do not know how anyone could find their way around this complicated set of tasks Just kidding, it’s as simple as it gets ;D

There is a tool available on the official site which allows you to change the size of your image or crop it and use only a part of it on the bag. You can also choose whether you would like to have a picture on both the front and the back of the bag or only the front. I think having a pic on both sides of the bag would be just a bit too much.. The front is just fine.

You can choose from various shapes and sizes to match your desires. Most of these bags are made of silk satin, only the Shopper and Weekender totes are made of canvas. All bags are featured with a tab closure and an internal zip pocket.

Louis Vuitton “Monogram Inclusion Bracelet”

I just had to write a post about these bracelets, they are too cute to be true. Remember how I said in my post about Anya Hindmarch’s Valentines day gifts that I prefer small presents for that occasion? Well, this is the ultimate Valentines day present. It is small, cute and something I would carry all the time (unlike some dust collector such as an oversized teddy bear, or some fancy chocolate box which would not fit into the picture with the numbers I would like to keep seeing on my bathroom scale).

Along with the bracelets, the Inclusion line also features hair cubes, cell phone charms, key rings, hair clips and a ring. I do not find the other items particularly alluring, but the bracelets are to die for. They come in two sizes, GM and MM and I think combined they make a killer combination.

These resin bracelets are featured with Swarovski crystals and come in several different colors - black, grey, turquoise, pomme d’amour and parm. Just imagine how many combinations you can make - for example pomme d’amour and parm/black, or turquoise and black/grey… Yummy Also, the clear resin finish creates an illusion as if the Monogram elements and the crystals are floating in it.

Anya Hindmarch Valentine’s Day Gifts

I have already written a post about Anya Hindmarch’s Loose Pockets and you know how much I loved them! With Valentine’s Days approaching, I suggest you start sending subtle hints about these cuties a perfect gift for anyone not looking to spend a small fortune. All you guys who are reading this, this is a much better present than a teddy bear holding a big red heart, trust me, I know what I’m talking about :).

See, I do not expect to get something huge/expensive on Valentine’s day nor would I like to get it either. It always seemed to me that something small, cute, but still useful, is the perfect way to go when it comes to this particular occasion. ( Along with the essential big bouquet of roses. )

Since the last post about Loose Pockets, there has been another color introduced - bronze, which actually appears to be quite dark, if you judge by the photos displayed on the official website. I like it because it is, apart from silver, the most neutral color available, and easiest to match to an everyday outfit. Another newsflash is the fact that you can have a personal message inscribed, up to 20 characters long, which would make this a truly unique gift. Although the price of the inscritpion is £50, only £10 less than the price of the product itself, I still feel it would make a big difference if you went for this option.

There is another thing that caught my attention, since I have been on a lookout for Valentine’s day presents, and it is the Roland purse. It is in bright red, made of bow embroidered calf leather, featuring twin pockets and adorable short tassles on the zip pulls. Since it is red, it would also make a nice, useful and cute present It looks more feminine than Loose pockets, but if I had to choose between these two I would probably go for the Loose pocket. I did say IF I had to choose… I wouldn’t mind having both

On the official website, there are a few items recomended as gifts for your special someone. They call them, as shown above, from left: Golden Couple, Perfect Partners and Attention Seekers. Eventhough all these gifts kind of fall into the “big” category, except for maybe the Perfect Partners bundle, I cannot say I do not like them. I would however rather have my own mix of these presents, taking the bag from the Attention Seekers bundle and matching it with the Loose Pocket from the Perfect Couple bundle. See, this is the problem, the items in a ceirtain bundle might match, but that does not mean I like all of them equally and would be thrilled to recieve a particular bundle as a gift.

Louis Vuitton “Violette Vernis”

This is a very pleasant surprise, I must say. I had my eyes on the Vernis collection for some time now and the only color that suited my taste was amarante. However, another color I like is now available - violette. There are also some new additions in this color, in the Walltes and small leather goods demartment. I have been seriously considering getting one of the Vernis wallets lately, but since I liked the amarante color only, my choices were quite limited. The delicious Sunset Boulevard is now also availale in violette as well, which makes four different colors you can choose from - me like. Roxbury drive, which we didn’t cover so far, is available in violette as well.

In the Wallets and small leather goods department I found violette Zippy (me like ) and Pochette wallets, Heart coin purse, Key and change holder in violette, to mention a few. Also, small ring and mini agendas are available in violette from now on.

I have noticed that the French purse and key and change holder and the Bedford bag are available in Indigo blue, which is also very interesting, especially to me, since my fav color is blue (turquoise to be more precise, but all other shades are wlecome as well).

Jimmy Choo “Metallic Suede Carissa” and a couple of Jimmy Choo shoes as well

I just love the Carissa clutch. I lilked it in the AW version and I simply love it in this SS08 look. After I went through the SS08 brochure, I was speachless - the new spring/summer shoes are simply too good to be true. I will dedicate the last part of my post to them because I can’t let them pass unnoticed.

Enough with the shoe collection though, this post is primarily about the Carissa clutch. It is one of the clutches which fit the oversized category, and the size suits it perfectly. It wouldn’t have had such a strong impact on me if it was any smaller than it actually is. What I particularly like about Carissa is that it does not stand out too much, but it won’t be unnoticed either. I think in this case both you and the Carissa get the same amount of attention, a very admirable quality. It has a typical clutch shape, but the diagonal flap along with the tassle detail give Carissa that edge we all look for in a bag.

I have this thing about tassles, I love playing with them, I got myself a kombolói in Greece and I attached it to one of my bags so I can have something to play with whenever I feel like it. The tassles on the Carissa have that special appeal to me and they do a fabulous job spicing up the look of the bag. Carissa is featured with a zip top closure keeping all your stuff secure. That wouldn’t be the case if it was featured with a flap closure only.

Now I will say something about the Jimmy Choo SS08 shoe collection. I find most of the shoes amazing, but I will mention the ones I liked the most. I fell in love with the Allena flat sandals immediately, and there is no stopping me from having them whatsoever. I didn’t expect the spartan trend, which was very live last year, would still be around this summer and I must admit that I am delighted to see it again since I love how they look on me.

I also wanted to mention the Aby Elaphe snake and patent sandal, featured on the cover of the brosure along with the white nappa Saba and I must say they make the combination to die for!

And the third, but definitely not the least, are the Azara Elaphe snake sandals. I get goosebumps every time I see them, and they make your feet look divine! I usually wouldn’t even notice a green pair of shoes, but there is something about Azara in that color and material with gold details that looks fabulous. Although I am not sure I wouldn’t pick the black ones, if they had them, over the green pair. Black is always black, but on the other hand, there is something about the green pair that lures you into staring at them.

Louis Vuitton iPhone Cases and iPod Cases

So, you got yourself an iPhone and you are extremely happy to own a hi-tech cell like that but there is a problem. You are a bit scared it will get scratched. Well, Louis Vuitton thought of it before you did and designed iPhone cases that will protect your new precious gadget from scratching.
