Prada Fairy Bag

I have seen many extremely positive reactions to this bag, some bordering a (positive) shock. I will be honest with you, I was among a small minority of people who were not blown away by this bag. I would never buy this bag, it is too much for me. I am actually quite indifferent about it, but since I know how many of you ladies loved it, I wanted to write a post about it now that it is available at NeimanMarcus.com for online purchase. I figured many of you who didn’t see it arrive to NM yet would appreciate this info.

Do not get me wrong, I didn’t and I do not hate the Fairy bag. There is, however, not a single thing about it I could relate to or a single detail that would appeal to me. I actually love the artistic side of it, and I think James Jean made a very interesting piece, but I do not like that kind of art being implemetned in a bag design. I am all for prints and colorful stuff, but this is an entirely different level. I would feel silly carrying it (no hard feelings ladies, that’s just me).

Anyway, for all of you who want this bag but don’t have a Prada near you, or simply prefer online shopping, you can easily get your hands on it now.

I love it! I think it looks completely etheral… utterly mystical! Its so different from the usual solid colours or even monograms and their updates. This collection is just simply refreshing… Of course, whether its look will last say 5 years down the road is a big question mark, but nevertheless, I think its SERIOUSLY divine… Valentine’s is just around the corner… *Wishing and Hoping and Lemming*

Hey pamela!
I agree that the Fairy bag is definitely something refreshing and out of the box. I love the art piece James Jean made as well, but I can’t imagine myself buying the bag, it just doesn’t do it for me. In my opinion, this bag has the potential to look fabulous if you know how to pull the whole look off, I’ll leave that to all of you who loved the Fairy bag.

I hope your hinting strategies with your hubby/boyfriend work out and that you get it for Valentine’s!

Let us know! Good luck ;)
