Prada “Cervo Pleat Tote”
The first time I saw this bag my reaction was “But WHY the gold toned hardware? WHY?”. I loved the coral color, I loved the shape of the bag and the vibe. Not being a gold toned hardware fan, seeing this otherwise beautiful bag caused a bit of dissapointment even though I have to admit, that feeling passed quickly. When I see a bag which has gold hardware, I can usually instantly tell whether it’s too much for my taste or not. In this case the gold toned pieces, being a bit massive and complementing the coral leather perfectly, actually fit my taste.
Having worked out how I feel about this bag, I can now actually write about it. Ok, so I love the bag, that’s clear enough. It’s not a bag you would carry around with you every day, ten days in a row. It is one of those bags that leaves quite an impression, and because of that you wouldn’t want to take it out with you every day. It wouldn’t work well as an evening bag, I mean, you can take it with you to a dinner with your friends or on the nights when you are hitting the clubs, but it is out of the question when it comes to anything more high profiled. But for a party bag, and even a summer day bag - it is perfect!
What is interesting and handy about this tote are the two open pockets on the sides of the bag for carrying chewing gum or something else you want to have accessible at all times. Of course, I wouldn’t carry anything valuable like my cellphone or something like that in them. The coral color is very refreshing and I thank Prada for choosing this wonderful shade.
