Miu Miu “Shiny Dragonfly Clutch”
I really do not know where to start… This is unbelievable.. I have no clue as to why and how this clutch made it into production.. It really is hideous. I am fully aware of the recent artistic print and global / ethnic trends, whichever category you want to put this one in, but cmmon, this is just too much. It just might look slightly better had they chosen to leave out the tacky golden handle, but this is just yuck. Why did they have to release this when there are so many beautiful Miu Miu bags out there? They just HAD TO make one hideous bag so we would be grateful for the beautiful ones? I do not get it.
I believe this is the first negative post about a Miu Miu bag here at Bagddicted, and I hope it will be the last one as well. I am trying so hard to understand what kind of a thinking process resulted in “hey, dragonflies on a clutch with a shiny golden handle - that sounds just perfect!”. I really cannot believe they are expecting people to pay the price they are asking for it, I wouldn’t carry it even if I was given money just to take it home with me! If they left out the dragonfly and the shiny handle, it could have been a cute clutch, since there is nothing wrong with the shape and the color mix. I can’t think of anything else to say about it..
Miu Miu, I hope this was just a result of some spur of the moment, “let’s make something totally crazy”, kind of thing. We still love you for all the beauties you have delighted us with!
