Miu Miu Large Vitello Vintage Tote
Quick… Catch your first impression and hold on to it for a while. I bet you tought something like “oh, that’s a nice bag”… Now think twice. Is it really that apealling as it was at first glance? I know it caught my eye because it’s a rather big and nicely shaped tote, and totes also fit in my recent day-shoulder bag bagddiction.
The shape is really nice, don’t you think? It gives the bag a soft and comfy look which is the No.1 thing we notice when looking for a day-time bag. The color also complements the leather and fits much better than white or black would. Not to mention other colors. It’s detailed with a traditional Miu Miu logo on front. Isn’t that just too good to be true?

Did I leave an impression that I’m crazy over this bag? But that’s because I am… Crazy-angry! How can it be possible that someone, anyone, came to the conclusion that this handle is suitable for this bag? Among all the ways this bag could be carried, it was decided it should be carried on a metal handle. Why, oh why? This is shoulder-shaped bag and so it should be carried. Oh, but I’m not the only one who thinks that way because the designers thought of it too. And what did they do? They attached a removable shoulder strap so thin that it couldn’t be used as a leash for a guinea pig. F-R-U-S-T-R-A-T-I-N-G
Anyhow, if the house of Miu Miu ever comes to the idea of making this bag with a proper handle I will be that gracious as to forgive them and make this bag a part of my collection. If that doesn’t happen I hope they will redeem this failure with another great bag. And we all know they know how to make a great bag…
