Marc Jacobs “Mercer Peet Leather Tote”
I finally got out of the summery mood, perhaps Christmas shopping and having a glass of mulled wine today had something to do with it. But still, I found this beautiful Marc Jacobs resort collection tote while browsing the Saks Holiday Gift Guide. This bag actually caught my attention about two weeks ago, but I never got around to writing about it, and now, having it seen again, I decided to write some nice things about it.
What I like the most about this bag is that it not only feels, but also looks very soft and comfortable, especially in the maple version. I just love the knot details on the handles, they enhance that comfy look. The tote is made of calfskin, which explains the soft feel, featured with a zipped pocket on the front, gold hardware, hidden magnetic closure and double handles with a 7″ drop. The interior is fully lined and features an open pocket.
This bag is available in two colors, black and maple. Apart from the color itself being gorgeous, the maple version is more appealing to me. This is because, as I said earlier, this version looks very comfy, the gold hardware goes along better with that color and the knot details, which are the key details on this bag, are more accented in that version.
