Louis Vuitton “Monogram Rubis Cruise Collection ‘08″
The first time I saw the Cruise Campaign Ad, I was really amazed by these bags. It was around the same time that I first saw “Neo Cabby” and fell in love with it so there’s no way I’ll ever forget it… Anyhow… The thing that struck me the most is that this design came totally unexpected and looked kind of odd, but come to think about it, it was a logical step for Louis Vuitton to take. Not just that, but now I’m wondering how come no one ever thought about it before. Because, whether you like these bags or not, you can’t say that the red against brown Monogram doesn’t look gorgeous. The warm red shade points out Monogram just as much as Monogram points out red detailes.
I came across a lot of opposite opinions about this line but I’m used to that when it comes to Louis Vuitton. So for those who don’t like this line, or aren’t just sure what to think of it yet, my advice is to give it some time beacuse, most likely, you’ll end up liking it.
