Giorgio Armani “Pleated Shoulder Bag”

Wow, this is beautiful! I spotted this delicious Armani while I was browsing the Bergdorf Goodman Resort Focus and I must say this bag is a real piece of art. It fits the category of bags which have every single thing in the right place. Very special and extraordinary, but not overdone. Pleated shoulder bag is a very sophisticated bag that will most ceirtainly put you in the center of attention. After I noticed this bag, every other bag I wanted to write about was instantly overshadowed.

The Pleated shoulder bag is made of plisse Napa leather, very soft to the touch and pleasant to the eye ;), detailed with gold tone hardware which does not stand out, but elegantly blends into the whole picture. The pleated body is the detail center of the bag rounded up nicley with a drawstring top and ivory topstiching. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any information on the size of this handbag on Bergdorf Goodman or anywhere else, so I decided to imagine the bag in different sizes and how it would look when a someone carried it. After this process, I concluded that it would look great in any possible size and I instantly dropped the size problem.

The bag comes in beige only, and I doubt I would like it as much in any other color. I think that the designers over at Armani made a very good call when they were deciding on the color because beige emphasizes all the right features of this bag and it gives it a really classy look. Let’s just cover the extremes: black would make all the remarkable details of this bag stand out much less which would be a shame, and if it were in white, it wouldn’t look cheap, but it woud definately lose a good part of the sophisticated look beige brings.

All in all, a must have if you ask me.
