Dolce & Gabbana “Miss Silky Small Tote Bag”
I can’t hold myself back from saying that this one looks like a little gremlin to me. It’s the shape I guess… I know it’s a bit foolish of me to say that, but I can’t help it. Other than that, I think this bag doesn’t qualify as a desirable bag. I always say that a lack of charm can set a bag back so much that nothing can help it. Here we have a renowned designer, sumptuous calfskin, polished silver metal hardware, zipped front pocket, detachable shoulder strap, multiple interior pockets and other features, but still, a bag has to be catchy to be an IT-bag.
Ok, so maybe they didn’t plan to make this bag an IT-bag, but what was the plan then? I don’t know, but what I do know is that it won’t be memorized, and that’s a shame. The only thing I find catchy about this bag is it’s name. I think every bag should stand out even if that means being an ugly bag. This one isn’t even ugly, it isn’t nice, it isn’t in any way special and that’s inexcusable.
