Dior Lady Dior Large Shopping Tote
This one regained my interest after seeing the new Dior ad with Monica Bellucci carrying a black Soft Lady Dior bag. I know that a lady as beautiful as Monica Belluci is, can make anything stand out, but this bag alone is also worthy of representing this collection by Dior.
I already shared my opinion about Dior bags with you, and I still stand my ground saying that I recognize the tendency towards exaggerating when it comes to their handbags. There is a difference between making an exemplary handbag and expecting women to carry it. Let’s take Samurai Knot Bag or Green Plisse Bag for example. I love their quirky look and attitude they represent but I would prefer them exposed in a showroom rather than on my hand.
On the other hand, Soft Lady Dior, part of Lady Dior Collection, is very much desirable. It’s feminine and definitely a lifter to your ego. This kind of bag makes you feel beautiful. It’s the shape, the smooth calfskin and cute dangling charms on shoulder-ring attachments. The bag is roomy, has a magnetic closure securing multiple pockets and compartments making this bag even more practical.
No wonder it’s called a Shopping bag… Because the shopping bag has a special purpose, it has to be nice, spacious, practical and easy to browse. It has to be representative so when you step in a store you won’t get misunderstood, mistaken and deprived from being given the proper credit
