Dior Cannage Drawstring Medium Shoulder Bag

Something strange happened this weekend. I did a post about that red Dolce & Gabbana Necessaire Python Clutch and after that one I found myself unconsciously looking for a bag which has a bit of a messenger touch to it. I don’t know how did that one pull that trigger in me, but somehow it did. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not looking for a real messenger bag. I’m looking for a bag that has a carefree feel to it, but still looks top notch. I wouldn’t call this a typical day time bag, something which you can carry around while working. It’s more like a bag you’ll make your companion when you are out shopping, going for a lunch during weekend, or an easy night out.

What I like about this one is the soft lambskin leather which is logo free, but the embroidered cannage pattern is still recognizable. The best thing about it is the drawstring leather strap which is woven through metal grommets, allowing you to extend or shorten it so you can carry it in different ways. It is very spacious thanks to this shape, which is great when you want to make a bag that looks smaller on the outside than it really is on the inside. The only thing I’m a bit torn about is the color. I don’t know if I’d rather go for the black or the red one. Since I already said which occasions I would carry it in, I’ll go for the red one. The shape is simple, it is logo free and without any unnecessary details on it so the red color fits perfectly, since it is the only thing that stands out.

After seeing it, thinking about it and posting about, I am more and more convinced I should go and buy it. I think I’ll regret it more if I let it pass than I would by buying it. Maybe I won’t carry it every day, but it’s worth having it around… Maybe every other day…
