Burberry “Belted Leather Tote”
There are some very classy bags Burberry has prepared for us in SS08 season. I particulary liked this Belted Leather Tote because it is very simple, elegant and classy, but at the same time these few leather details make it stand out. Just by looking at this bag I feel relaxed, it’s like, everything on this bag is right where it should be, if you know what I’m referring to.
This is exactly what a daytime bag should look like. Not too extravagant with overwhelming details, but still eye catching. This soft leather tote is available in three colors: black, chocolate and sand. I didn’t quite like the black version because it struck me as too serious and the gold pieces looked just a bit too much for my taste. I just couldn’t imagine myself carrying it. On the other hand, the sand leather goes along great with the gold peices as they blend in perfectly.
The bag features a leather belt with a buckle detail around the top, simetrical D-ring details on the front of the bag, rolled leather handles also decorated with D-rings on the ends and a zip top closure. There is a small equestrian knight logo featured on the front, and besides that, there are no other distinguishing Burberry print details. The exploded check lined interior features two patch pockets and a zipped pocket.
I can say I am really impressed with this bag, definately thumbs up for Burberry’s SS08.
